Shop online from the convenience of your home for many of the prescription, non-prescription, and specialty diets your pet's need. Our online store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All non-diet orders over $39 are shipped absolutely FREE by UPS Ground. Shipping time ranges from 3-4 business days from the time you purchase the items. West Geauga Veterinary Hospital is an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association. Fewer than 1 in 5 hospitals qualify for this honor. We passed our latest AAHA inspection in November of 2010 with flying colors! The inspector reviewed our medical records, cleanliness, laboratory, pathology, radiology standards, client service standards, management standards, surgical aseptic technique standards, emergency and nursing care standards, continuing education, and staff training. We offer complete medical, surgical, diagnostic, dentistry, and pharmacy services.
- Puppy/kitten wellness/vaccination visits
- Annual physicals, vaccines, heartworm, and fecal testing
- Exams and treatment of birds, reptiles, pocket pets, ferrets, hedgehogs, mini-pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, sugar gliders, etc.
- Bird wingtrim, nailtrim, and beaktrims, mini-pig tusk and hooftrimming
- Diagnostic radiographs, including OFA hip x-rays to rule our hip dysplasia

Our Fees
At West Geauga Veterinary Hospital we strive to offer the highest quality care and services possible at a reasonable fee. We are happy to provide the written estimates for diagnostics and care, if you would like. Don't forget to look into pet health insurance -- Veterinary Pet Insurance -- at www.petinsurance.com. Sign your puppy, kitten, or bird up young, and breathe easier.
Payment is due when your pet goes home. We do no billing. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, *Care Credit, personal checks, and cash.
*Care Credit is a health care card used by many veterinarians, dentists, chiropractors, and audiologists. They offer 3 months same as cash, as well as other extended payment plans to those qualifying. You can check it out, and even apply online, at www.carecredit.com. For those without the internet, a 5 minute phone call can give you the answer.
We are happy to give written estimates, when asked. We honor free exam coupons from the Humane society, AAHA coupons, and ValPak new customer coupons. We honor low-cost spay and neuter coupons from the Humane Society and Friends of Animals, as well.
We previously had a held check policy for established clients, but we had to discontinue it due to a high rate of bad checks and administrative costs. It only takes a few bad apples to spoil it for everyone, unfortunantely. Beware--bounced checks are automatically turned over to the Federal Check Recovery System (www.federalcheck.net), and bank fees are expensive.
The staff arrives at 7am to answer phones and receive pets. Surgeries are done weekly from 8:30am till 10am, with appointments scheduled in 15-30 minute blocks.
After hours, Dr. Jones and Dr. Pappas take turns being on call. Just by calling our regular clinic number, (440)-729-9584, you will reach their cell phones after closing, on weekends and holidays. We know pets can't plan when they get sick or hurt!
